Dorking Reconstruction With Indian Sandstone And Resin Finish

Full Reconstruction in Dorking
True Grip were contacted by a long-standing building company with a very good reputation in the area to see what could be achieved in a very short amount of time with a tired driveway to this lovely house in Dorking.
When we arrived on site for the initial survey and measure in early November the client made it clear that they would be away for the rest of November 2025 and would be home by the 8th of December for the Christmas period, and would need all works completed, as they had a large family gathering arranged.
Between the client, builder and True Grip we came up with a scheme of Granite Setts to frame the drive, Grey Indian Sandstone to the entrance of the house, with Rustic Cove to give that natural classic shingle drive finish.
Speed was of the essence and once design and price were agreed the team set the area out and began the excavation with the removal of the existing tired tarmac. Once the area was dug out, granite setts were installed. Then came the geotextile membrane and limestone base to create a free draining surface to which the Grey Indian Sandstone and Rustic Cove were applied.
The Client required the drive to be finished by the 8th of December, yet with all hands on deck, a great team attitude and a stroke of luck with the weather, the driveway was finished by the 3rd of December, giving enough time for the resin to cure.
Needless to say, the client was over the moon with the timing and finish.
True Grip laid 35m2 of Grey Indian Sandstone and 77m2 of Addagrip Terrabase Rustic Cove.
